On one occasion a crowd of 12,000 attended the Camanachd Cup Final
Anniesland has over the years hosted not only international rugby but also international hockey and lacrosse and even the USAF American Football Final involving such as the Weisbaden Flyers
Later in the year European Cup cricket matches will be played at both Old and New Anniesland
