MESSAGE FROM FORMER HAWKS AND GHK STAWLWART FERGUS WALLACE

I have been persuaded to assist with the Co-optomists as they try to get off the ground again. I certainly got benefits in my day from playing with them. As you know it is a select team made up from players across Scotland.

Anyway, I have been charged with the task of recruiting players from the west. There are not many fixtures over the year, but the first one is on 11th May 2005 at Preston Lodge against an East Lothian select.

Can you forward me details of any players who you might think a) would be interested, b) of a standard that would do the team justice.

We are looking for players who are just about breaking through, or are young and look like a prospect in the future, and also a sprinkling of experienced players.FERGUS WALLACE
