For those of you who attended the dinner dance on May 6 at the Hilton Grosvenor, you will remember that part of the fundraising on the night was to support the Hearts and Balls Appeal, a charity that helps people of all ages and ability who have been seriously injured playing rugby.

With all monies now collected, the club bean-counter informed me that we are in a position to hand over a cheque for £1,200 to Hearts and Balls Appeal which I think is a pretty good effort.

Thanks to each and every one of you, and your guests, for contributing towards this worthy cause which we will continue to support over the coming seasons.
