Just a reminder that you should get along to Whitecraigs tomorrow for the inaugural Glasgow Warriors Club Touch Tournament.
The Warriors professional players, including Scotland players such as Jon Petrie, Andy Henderson, Alastair Kellock, Donnie Macfadyen, Dan Parks, and Scott Lawson will be refereeing the club matches, so will no doubt be subjected to some banter from the club players, and there'll be lots more going to add to the fun including a chance to see the Calcutta Cup up close, a DJ, BBQ, tug of war, autograph sessions and the opportunity to lend your support to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games bid.
Alastair Kellock, Glasgow's captain for the new season, said: "I'm really looking forward to first outing with the team at Sunday's Touch Tournament at Whitecraigs and hope a lot of folk come along, meet the team and support the club for the start of the new season. We've made some really good signings over the summer and we're all hoping to compete well next season. We're all focusing on the future and doing our best for Glasgow. I'm very keen that we focus on Glasgow itself - the players supporting the city and the city supporting the players. We will be doing our very best and I would appeal to the public in Glasgow to get behind us."
Warriors head coach Sean Lineen said: "We want to be at the heart of the community as far as rugby in the Glasgow area is concerned. Whether you are a regular rugby supporter or have never been to a match before, the day will be a great opportunity to come along, enjoy the friendly atmosphere and see what it's all about - everyone's welcome and everybody at the Warriors is looking forward to seeing you there."
