Jon Petrie starts for Glasgow Warriors
Glasgow Warriors head coach Sean Lineen today hailed competition for places in his side as they embark on their final warm-up game ahead of the start of the Magners League.
Glasgow have defeated Moseley and Newcastle Falcons on home territory over the past fortnight and travel to Kingston Park tomorrow for the 'return' fixture with the Falcons.
Sean said: "I'm fairly close to settling on the starting line-up for our first Magners League game against the Dragons at Hughenden next Friday but the competition for places, especially in the forwards, is really intense."
Warriors make only one change from the team that started their 13-7 win against the Falcons at Burnbrae last week. Jon Petrie starts at No 8 instead of John Beattie, who is being rested due to a swollen knee.
