HAWKS UNDER 15 NEWS
The Season gets underway this Sunday for the Under 15s with an away league fixture against West of Scotland KO 2:00pm.
Pre season training has gone well and we have a squad of 26 boys vying for places in the starting line up. Thanks go to Gregor McDougall again for all his efforts in getting the boys up to speed. We have been very fortunate indeed to secure the help of Logan Kerisone who has really pulled the boys along with innovative and educational sessions and I feel that the forwards in particular will have benefited from his input. Ally MacLay has also been along to help out however his involvement has been hampered by injury- we all wish him a speedy return to fitness.
Due to the pressure on the grounds at OA we felt it appropriate to look elsewhere for a venue for training and our home games. We have been welcomed over the fence at New Anniesland and will be based there for the rest of the season.
The boys all realise that in reality this is their last chance to achieve their full potential in Hawks jerseys. They played magnificently last year and were undefeated in games lasting the full period (the sole defeat was to GHA in an 8 minute each way game). The aim this year is to maintain concentration levels at all times and to be undefeated in all games and bring some silverware home.
Saturdays squad is as follows:
1 Stephen Dickson
2 Cameron Crozier
3 Kenny McGowan
4 Elliot Connell
5 Chris Rhodes
6 Jamie Swanson (Captain)
7 Rory Stewart
8 Sean McAlindon
9 Jack McDougall
10 Patrick Bell
11 Max Martin
12 Rory Taylor

15 Jonny Byrne-Leitch
16 Robbie Hirst
17 Scott Fraser
18 Andy Homer
19 Graham Robertson
20 David Eadie
21 Iain Parry
22 Quentin Liao
Jamie Yacoubian, Tom Cahn, Ross MacFarlane and Rory Henderson were all unavailable for selection because of injury.
