Thanks to Nick for arranging a great night at the club. The sun shone
for a sizzling BBQ before the action moved inside for the real
entertainment. Forget Robbie Williams as coxie hit the mike. Stevie
Biggart did the ironically and cruelly chosen lady in Red and Cobby
crooned to us before launching into a G&T blitz. As usual Hodgie
showed his modest demeanour by singing at least 3 times[ good luck
with Royal Navy rugby trials next week] Meanwhile Kiddsy grabbed
people on tender parts of their body in a weird ayrshire mating ritual!
There may have been an element of sarcasm in choosing Sex Bomb as my
song[ thanks to Mikie Adamson who was an excellent compere] I was
greatly disappointed that no underwear was thrown at the stage.

Vocals were also enhanced by the bevy of lovely ladies from the
hockey section and the brave girlfriends who turned out to support
the club. Highlights included- Karen and Jo/Helen and Linda and Pam
and some mad pals.

Bonding song of the night for the Hawks- Things Can Only Get Better.
