EDINBURGH Rugby are set to offer trials to former Scotland winger Rory Kerr, starting on Monday.

Moves are afoot to include 26-year-old Kerr, who recently returned from New Zealand and has linked up with Hawks, in a back up match against the Glasgow side at Whitecraigs on Monday).

Kerr, who could fill the gap out wide caused by the departure of Francisco Leonelli, gained the last of his three caps against Wales in 2003, having turned out against Canada and USA on tour a year earlier.

Turning out for Glasgow will be caps Graeme Morrison, Donnie Macfadyen and Scott Lawson.
