Former Hawks and Glasgow star is still with Bristol this season
The only two remaining unbeaten teams in the Guinness A League Southern section square off on Monday evening as Bristol United entertain NEC Harlequins at Clifton RFC.
Both teams have won their first two fixtures so far and scored try scoring bonus points in the process with Bristol heading the table on points difference.
Bristol have named a provisional team although this could well be subject to change as the likes of Alex Clarke, David Lemi and Alfie To'oala saw considerable action for the first team at London Irish on Saturday.
Bristol Rugby:
Luke Arscott, Bernardo Stortoni, Vaughan Going, Walter Pozzebon, Danny Gray, Brian O'Riordan, Alex Clarke, David Blaney, Wayne Thompson, Dave Attwood, Nathan Budgett, Geraint Lewis, Craig Short (capt), Alfie To'oala
Replacements:
Mark Irish, Saul Nelson, Jason Hobson, Richard Martin-Redman, Iain Grieve, Redford Pennycook, Greg Nicholls, Tommy Hayes, Andy Reay, Ashley Maggs
Hayes' inclusion sees Rory Teague feature at fullback and there is other first team experience in the backs from the likes of Mark Denney, Greg Nicholls and Lee Robinson.
There is also a strong front row influence in the pack with Saul Nelson, Wayne Thompson, Olly Kohn and Richard Martin-Redman featuring.
On the bench is Argentinian prop Martin Rospide who will hope to make his first appearance in Bristol colours.
The game kicks off at Cleve RFC at 7:30pm.
Bristol United:
Rory Teague, Lee Robinson, Andy Reay, Mark Denney, Jake Babb, Tommy Hayes, Greg Nicholls, Tom Fidler, Saul Nelson, Wayne Thompson, Olly KOhn, Dave Bufton, Redford Pennycook, Chevvy Pennycook, Rik Martin-Redman
