Glasgow Warriors head coach Sean Lineen has made only one change to the starting line-up to take on the Border Reivers in the Magners League at Hughenden on Friday (7.30pm) from the side that narrowly lost to Edinburgh last Friday. Scotland cap Rory Lamont, who had a successful first game back from injury for the Warriors back-up team against the Reivers on Monday (final score 34-12 in the Warriors favour) starts at fullback, meaning Sean Marsden drops out of the side.
Lineen said: “Winning our home games is so important to us in the Magners League and we’ll be looking to build upon our last win here against Munster. At the moment, we’re one place ahead of the Reivers in the League table so I can’t emphasise enough how much of a must win game this is for both sides.“
Lamont added: \"I\'ve been working very hard on my speed and weights to make sure I’m ready for coming back. Monday’s game was tough going but I needed it. I hadn’t done much contact work in a while so was really keen to get back into things.”
On the bench, there is also one change - Sam Pinder returns as replacement scrum half meaning Ben Addison drops out of the side as Dan Parks and Scott Barrow remain as the replacement backs.
