"What looms on Saturday for that lot is a contest which cannot come quickly enough. Hawks are at Millbrae and revenge is the buzz word for the defeat last November which still rankles in the 'we wuz robbed' category for the Ayr faithful.
It affects particularly those who habituate the far side of the pitch at Millbrae and will swear that Eddie McLaughlin never put a foot in touch for what would have been the winning try.
Beware though. Hawks did what no no one else has done thus far this season and skelped Currie to the tune of 42-5, knocking them off the top of the table.
Of course, the main reason David Wilson's troops were able to inflict such a heavy defeat on the leaders can be traced to the previous week at Malleny when Ayr softened them up and put a serious dent in their confidence.
This will be another Millbrae cracker. Get there if you can."
