You may well wonder at such a sick joke in sending two injured players, both struggling to walk unaided, to see off Ian Botham on his walk around Glasgow, but that\'s what the team at Glasgow Warriors did.
Glasgow Warriors players former Hawk Colin Shaw and James Eddie were on hand to provide the Warriors’ backing to Ian Botham as he set off on a 10-mile walk around Glasgow city in aid of Leukaemia Research. Ian, who is president of the charity, has helped raise £8m to help make a difference to the lives of many young cancer patients and will be walking in 17 cities across the UK covering 200 miles in nine days.
