Max Evans made a good impression last night as, playing at centre, the utility back who is on trial with Glasgow Warriors and is set to join Glasgow Hawks, got among the try scorers in a 33-19 win over Scotland under-20s at Meggetland. Chris Cusiter's older brother Calum, loaned by the Border Reivers to the Warriors, also touched down, as did Moray Low, Colin Gregor and Mike Adamson, who added four conversions.
For the under-20s Colin Goudie and Danny Levison crossed.
