SCOTTISH DEAF PREPARE TO FACE AULD ENEMY FOR FIRST TIME

Scotland’s Deaf International rugby team are to face their English counterparts for the first time.

The inaugural match takes place at GHA’s ground at Braidholm in Glasgow this Saturday (18 November) with a 1pm kick-off.

It’s seven years since Scottish Deaf Rugby was established and Saturday’s match will be the fourth full international they have played. They have lost twice to the current deaf world champions, Wales, 0-60 and 17-32, while they defeated their Japanese counterparts 29-14.
