Glasgow Hawks are pleased to announce that David Wilson will be the new Head Coach to replace Peter Wright who has recently been appointed as the Scotland Under 19 Coach
John Roxburgh Director of Rugby said;
“We are pleased to secure David’s services thus bringing him back to Anniesland where he enjoyed success as a player.The appointment of a Forwards Coach will follow shortly”

David who played most of his senior rugby with Currie captained Hawks in their inaugural season leading them to a League and Cup double in 1997-98 and a win over Toulouse.The Hawks team of that season included such as Tommy Hayes,Glenn Metcalfe and Derek Stark.
He coached Hawks along with Shade Munro in 2000-01 and since then has been coach to GHA. David teaches Physical Education at one of Hawks’ associate schools the Kelvinside Academy
