No 8 David Callam will make his first start and Dan Parks has won the nomination at stand-off in the Scotland team to play Australia in Saturday’s Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Test at Murrayfield.

Callam, 23, was introduced as a substitute after injuries to Jason White and Johnnie Beattie in the previous two Tests against Romania and the Pacific Islanders respectively.

He is the only enforced change in the pack from that which started the Pacific Islanders game during which Beattie departed with ankle ligament damage.

In the backs, Mike Blair starts at scrum-half in place of Chris Cusiter who will be out of action for up to four months following his dislocated shoulder last weekend.

On the bench, Rory Lawson and Alasdair Strokosch are in a senior Scotland 22 for the first time.

Scotland coach Frank Hadden said: “We are unbeaten at Murrayfield this year and everyone involved with the squad is proud of that. We will require a top-drawer performance from our entire 22 to maintain that on Saturday.”

Ticket sales for Saturday have now reached 58,000. Tickets are priced at £10, £20 and £30 for adults and £5, £10 and £15 for children, students and pensioners. They are available from our website (www.scottishrugby.org); via the credit card hotline (Tel: 0131 346 5100 – please note a booking fee applies) and in person from the Scottish Rugby Ticket Centre, Roseburn Street, Murrayfield, which is open 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
