SCHOOLS CUP FOURTH ROUND HOTS UP

Two fourth round ties in the Bell Lawrie Scottish Schools under-18 Cup were completed last week.

Previous winners Dollar Academy accounted for Gordonstoun 48-13, while holders Stewart’s-Melville College booked their place in the quarter-final draw with a 27-11 success over Glenalmond College at Inverleith.

The quarter-final draw will take place on Thursday, as a number of fourth round ties are scheduled to be staged tomorrow or Wednesday.

Tuesday 28 November

Merchiston Castle School v Morrison’s Academy, kick-off 2pm

Wednesday 29 November

Peebles HS v Royal HS, kick-off 2pm
Strathallan v Boroughmuir HS, kick-off 2pm
North Berwick HS v Galashiels Academy, kick-off 2pm
Bell Baxter HS v Edinburgh Academy, kick-off 5.30pm

The last fourth round tie to be played will be the High School of Glasgow v Loretto at Old Anniesland on Wednesday 6 December, with a 2pm kick-off.
