A strong back-row of Andrew Wilson, Steve Swindall and John Barclay gave the Warriors quick-ball and the urgency from the half-back partnership of Colin Gregor and Sam Pinder gave them the edge over ther Reivers.
Warriors’ winger Max Evans impressed showing bursts of pace similar to that of his older brother, Scotland A cap Thom Evans.
With a solo break through the trailing Reivers defence, Evans darted his way through and offloaded to Scotland cap Sam, Pinder who went over for the opening try. Colin Gregor converted from out wide.
Three minutes later, Evans put his own points on the board with a dash up the wing, the covering tackle was not enough as his momentum carried him over the whitewash.
