THE SCOTSMAN REPORTS
Wilson gets Hawks job
DAVID KELSO
SCOTTISH champions Glasgow Hawks last night appointed former skipper David Wilson as their new head coach in place of Peter Wright.
Wilson moves back across the city from GHA, who were relegated from the BT Premiership top flight last weekend as a result of losing to the Hawks. The vacancy arose when Wright’s Scotland Under-19 coaching post was made full-time. Hawks director John Roxburgh said: "We are pleased to secure David’s services and bringing him back to the club where he enjoyed such success as a player."
Wilson captained Hawks to a Division 2 title and Cup double in 1998.
