Max Evans has been running out with Glasgow on a trial basis and has played in their last two back up matches against Scotland 20s and the Borders
Glasgow now would now like to have him playing with Hawks so that they can continue monitoring him
A 23-year-old utility back who prefers to play scrum-half and outside centre, Max is making a rugby comeback having previously been in the academy set-up at Harlequins, where he got a couple of first-team games before a back injury sidelined him two years ago.
Max has spent his time out of rugby working as a professional golfer in Portugal. During that period, core work on his back appears to have brought about a full recovery and, after playing some sevens last summer, he was keen to get back into the sport properly.
His bother Thom plays for Glasgow Warriors and performed with the boy band Twen2y4Se7en. He took a year out from sport to tour with the lads, supporting McFly, Peter Andre and Westlife, and has recently played for Scotland A
Max has in the past been under the supervision of the formidable Margo Wells for his fitness work
