Good afternoon to you all on this miserably wet and windy day. At least you have the next meeting of GROGS to look forward to. This will take place at Braidholm on Wednesday 13th December at 12noon for 12-30pm. The speaker is Norrie Flowers a former referee and well known after dinner speaker. You make recognise him from television as he is the spokesman for the Police Federation. I am sure that we will be well entertained.
As you may recall, at the December meeting you get free wine however there is no thing such as a free lunch as we will be holding a raffle to support rugby for young people in countries where the game is being developed. last year we raised £400 and it purchased rugby balls.
At the November meeting we had 75 in attendance and 71 said that they would attend in December. The maximum attendance is 100 is it is imperative that you let me know if you are coming as that is the only way to guarantee a place.
On arrival the reception will be held in the room to the left at the top of the stairs. we will move into the main room at 12-30.
