The Steelers narrowly lost their Quater final tie here in Dubai this afternoon by 19-17 to the England back up side, St George.
That means that the Steelers are now out of the tournament despite some great performances over the last couple of days.
Steelers were down 12-5 at half time with Dougie Flockhart scoring their only try of the half. Despite St George going further ahead after the re-start a spectacular solo effort from Charlie Keenan brought them right back into the match.
Captain Mark Lee scored a last minute try which James Reilly just failed to convert to dump the Steelers out.
