England hit back at George Sevens
Garvey scored three of his side's 10 tries
England's Marcel Garvey grabbed a hat-trick in his side's 58-5 demolition of Portugal at the George Sevens in South Africa.
The ten-try win was a welcome boost after England dropped points in their opening match, conceding a last-minute try to draw 14-14 with Wales.
Wales followed the draw up with a narrow 10-7 win over Argentina.
Meanwhile, Scotland lost 31-12 to Australia, after previously falling to a 35-5 defeat by New Zealand.
Earlier in the day, Tunisia sprung a major surprise by beating Australia 21-12.
