John Beattie sustained ligament damage while on Scotland duty
Glasgow coach Sean Lineen expects John Beattie to feature at some point in the Warriors festive double header against Edinburgh and Border Reivers.
Johnnie sustained ligament damage to his right ankle in Scotland's win over the Pacific Islanders last month and it was feared a lengthy spell on the sidelines was on the cards.

However, Sean Lineen said in today's Mail on Sunday: "John will be back for one of the two derbies. I don't know if it will be for only the second one against the Reivers or whether it will be both."
