As New Anniesland gets ready to celebrate 100 years of sport this small piece of history in the form of a collection of cigarette cards have been discovered.
The cards pictured show three of the great Glasgow Accie three quarter line of the 1920s--Max Simmers,Jimmy Dykes and Jimmy Nelson all who played for Scotland along with Herbert Waddell when Accies provided four of the Scotland back line
