GLASGOW THROUGH TO EUROPEAN LAST EIGHT
Glasgow Warriors had to settle for a draw against Saracens at sodden Hughenden this evening. But it was enough to take them through to the quarter-finals of the European Challenge Cup.
It is only the second time a Scottish team has qualified for the last eight of a European competition. The likelihood is that they will have to visit France to play Brive on the weekend of 31 March. But much will depend on other results tomorrow.
Dan Parks kicked Glasgow’s points with two penalty goals, though the support had cause to rue his two misses, one in each half. A win would have probably given Glasgow a home draw.
Glen Jackson kicked two penalty goals for Saracens.
