ITS SARACENS AGAIN


After results this afternoon, it is confirmed that Glasgow will travel back to Watford for the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
Glasgow Warriors will travel to Saracens in the European Challenge Cup quarter-final.

The Warriors clinched their place in the last eight with a 6-6 draw against the Vicarage Road outfit on Friday night.

Glasgow were unfortunate to miss out on a win at Saracens in October in Pool Two as the English side claimed a 28-23 triumph in October.

But now the sides will line up against each other again in the quarter-final which will take place on the weekend of March 31 and April 1.

And Warriors head coach Sean Lineen is hoping the game will prove to be third time lucky for his side against the north London club.

Sean told the official Warriors website: "Obviously, we know each other’s game and they will be familiar opposition. It is something to look forward to.

"But we have a few games coming up in the Magners League before then which we have to focus on.

"We have lost one and drawn one against Saracens so far this season, so it is about time we won one against them.
