Weather 7 Glasgow Hawks Under 16 0

For the seventh match weekend running (10 weeks in total including Christmas
and New Year) the Hawks game was postponed.

Today we should have played GHA at OA (at something like the 4th attempt).
OA was ruled out on Friday, Scotstoun was also out, but New Anniesland held
out some hope. Unfortunately weather conditions on Friday/ Saturday meant
that only one game could be played at New Anniesland today, and as the Under
15s have used this as their home base they obviously had first call. Our
thanks to Robert at New Anniesland for all his help.

Last night GHA thought they had secured a pitch at St. Aloysius' Millerston
ground, as two pitches were playable yesterday. Unfortunately at 12.30 today
they were declared unplayable, as was Braidholm's 1st XV pitch shortly after
that.

Both clubs tried everything to get the game played, with both willing to
play at neutral Millerston, and Hawks willing to travel to Braidholm.

We're now in the laps of the gods for the Nationals as they are due to start
2 weeks today, and Hawks have 2 games remaining AND still in with a chance
to qualify.
