Lawson hoping to restart career with Sale after injury setbacks

SCOTLAND international hooker Scott Lawson looks set to continue his career in the English Premiership next season, with Sale favourites to land the Glasgow front-row forward.
Lawson was a key member of the international squad last season but has struggled with injury in recent months. He is now expected to make a fresh start in England alongside Scotland captain Jason White at Edgeley Park.
The hooker's likely departure will afford Scotland Under-21 international Fergus Thomson the opportunity to stake a claim for the No2 jersey at Glasgow.
Edinburgh, meanwhile, will have former Scotland Under-21 lock Ian Nimmo
