Scotland dropped out of the Cup quarter final at the USA Sevens today with a 34-0 loss to Samoa.

Head coach Stephen Gemmell commented: "We keep showing these top teams far too much respect.

"We need to work on our self belief in order to be competitive against these sides."

Scotland will now face Australia in the plate semi-final.
