The upcoming David Gilmore Memorial match between Glasgow
Accies(holders) and GHK is no mean fixture .Its roots go back to 1885
when Glasgow Accies first met Glasgow H.S.F.P and 1888 when the two
Accies -Glasgow and Kelvinside first clashed.
The matches continued on that basis until GHK were formed in 1982
although Glasgow High had gone open some years before
The final match between Glasgow High and Kelvinside Accies took place
in 1982 with GHK being formed later that year
GHK's first match was of course against Glasgow Accies whom they met
and beat on 4 September 1982
This years match will take place at Old Anniesland under lights on
Friday 9 March
