Glasgow sign Evans on short term
Max Evans hopes to help lift Glasgow up the Magners League
Glasgow Warriors have completed the signing of Max Evans until the end of the current season.
The former Glasgow Hawks full-back will now link up with his winger brother, Thom, at Hughenden.
"This is a great opportunity and I am looking forward to playing alongside Thom," Evans told the club website.
"Thom is already a hit with our supporters and now we hope Max will also become a vital player for us," added head coach Sean Lineen.

FORMER golf professional Max Evans plans to use his temporary link-up with Glasgow as an approach shot to the big-time.
Evans - brother of Warriors winger Thom - has clinched a deal that will run until the end of the Magners League campaign, and the utility back is determined to prove to coach Sean Lineen that he should be signed up on a long-term basis.
Evans declared: "I am hugely excited at the prospect of being more involved in the professional game, especially alongside Thom.
"He has made a tremendous impression in his first season at Hughenden and I would love to follow in his footsteps.
"Although we have played together in sevens, the last time we teamed up in a full game was away back when we were schoolboys at Wellington College.
"After that I went to Harlequins, and Thom went through his much-publicised boy-band spell before going to Wasps, so there was no opportunity to appear together."
Explaining his involvement on the golf scene, he added: "It all came about after I suffered a back injury during my attachment to Quins.
"My father runs a golf centre in Portugal and I thought that getting involved would help my condition. I embarked on a PGA training scheme and played in a couple of tournaments on the European Circuit. But I never really liked it and rugby was always far and away my first sporting love, so when my back improved I just wanted to return."
Evans, who is qualified to represent Scotland, is eyeing a place in the national squad for the highlight of the world sevens scene, the Hong Kong tournament next month.
Glasgow aim to keep up their Magners League surge tomorrow against the Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade.
