Scotland have added nine players to the 22 who were on duty against Italy for training today ahead of Saturday’s RBS 6 Nations Championship match against Ireland at Murrayfield.
They are forwards Johnnie Beattie es Glasgow Academy, Alastair Kellock, John Barclay (all Glasgow Warriors), Alasdair Strokosch (Edinburgh Rugby) and Bruce Douglas (Border Reivers); and backs Thom Evans, Dan Parks, Rory Lamont ex Hawks and Graeme Morrison ex Hawks (all Glasgow Warriors).
All of the players from the squad against Italy will train today though David Callam, Euan Murray and Chris Paterson will play a limited part as they continue to make good progress from calf, thigh and ankle injuries respectively.
