WARRIORS LOSE AT NETBALL

Scotland 46 - 41 Glasgow Warriors
Friendly match played at Kelvin Hall

Andy looking light on his feet Glasgow Warriors came close to causing an upset tonight as they took on the Scottish Netball team, but eventually succombed to the national side.
While Glasgow kept in sight of the Scotland team, they never managed to take the lead, but came within 2 goals on several occasions.

Sam Pinder's side managed to employ some training ground moves, including the Hail Mary pass to Glasgow's Man of the Match, Andy Newman. There could be no doubting the determination of the Warriors in this match, a fact the two injured Scotland players will attest to.

In the end, with such a close result, the Scotland players were able to breathe a sigh of relief as the Warriors headed back to the rugby pitch to consider challenging the girls to a re-match.
