The visit of the Arizona University University Wildcats to Anniesland this weekend is not the first by an American Universty side.
In 2002 Hawks played the University of Oregon as part of the buld up to the 2002 BT Cup Final against Hawick
Its interesting to note that Soccer is also feastured in Tucson--The English Premiership team Charlton Athletic recently opened a youth academy in Tucson in May 2005
