CLUB DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – GLASGOW HAWKS RFC
Payment: £21,861- £24,201 p.a. with opportunities for progression.
In addition a car and reasonable expenses will be provided.

Glasgow Hawks RFC seeks to appoint a committed Club Development Manager to work with us to drive the aims of our local rugby development plan, establish the Glasgow Hawks Youth Academy sponsored by Bank of Ireland and in turn contribute to the SRU’s vision for growing the game.
You will have experience of sports development & coaching within a rugby environment, as well as a relevant academic qualification and a full, valid driving licence.
You will deliver on behalf of the club and its partners a thriving development structure within the Glasgow Hawks environment that ensures the club is vibrant and at the centre of sustainable rugby development in Glasgow and the west of Scotland. You will report to a management group consisting of representatives of the club, Scottish Rugby Regional Development Manager, and representatives of other stakeholders as required.
Key Accountabilities
Increase community awareness of Glasgow Hawks RFC and their contribution to the personal and social development of young players
Assist in the development of opportunities in local schools so they can participate in competitive rugby matches – either separately or in a combined side
Support the associated schools (Glasgow Academy, High School of Glasgow and Kelvinside Academy) through coach education and development support
Provide after schools clubs linking the local schools and Glasgow Hawks
Develop an integrated coaching structure which ensures that teams in every group from S1 to U18 are coached to a high standard and play regular games
Provide current and former players with an opportunity to continue their involvement in the sport by passing on their skills to the next generation of players
Glasgow Hawks has been established for just 10 years but has, in that time proven itself as Scotland’s leading club providing a stepping-stone to professional, representative and International rugby. This exciting opportunity will require an exceptional individual committed to realising the ambitions of the club and individual participants.
