SCOTS KNOCKED OUT CUP BY RAMPANT KIWI’S

Scotland 7s were knocked out of the Adelaide Cup tournament this morning by New Zealand who currently occupy the third spot in the World Sevens Standings.
The scores were level at 14-14 at half time after Mike Adamson and Ross Rennie crossed for the Scots, Adamson converting both.
But in the second period, the Kiwi’s pulled away to a comfortable victory to book themselves a place in the semi-finals against top seeds Fiji.
The Emirates Airline Edinburgh 7s, the final leg of the IRB Sevens World Series, will feature the world’s top teams over two days of fast flowing, skilful and dynamic international rugby sevens together with a fun-packed Festival of Rugby on the back pitches, making it the ‘not-to-be-missed’ event of the summer.
