Glasgow Hawks 31 Dundee 7
Hawks try machine Ally Maclay began this tie in the same manner as he played in the first. Two tries in the first half, the second a run from his own half and tracked all the way by a desperate Dundee, sandwiched a counter from the East coasters.
Mike Kerr beat Mikie Adamson with a quick side-step on the halfway line to run clean through for the score. Adamson converted Maclay’s first and Cameron Ferguson returned the favour for Dundee for Hawks to lead at the break.
The Glasgow team extended their advantage after the break when Sean Murray touched down. Maclay then turned provider for Adamson to score and convert.
Sandy Warnock rounded off the high scoring tie for Hawks with a touch down below the posts and Adamson added the two points.
