This is the re-heckle that was promised for my fundraising efforts for the climb. As you are probably already aware from the last e-mail: Tofor Hall, John Stone, Olly Scott and I are taking on the climbing of Mount Kilimanjaro in East Africa on the 10th June 2005 to raise funds for The PBC Foundation. From our successful marketing of the trip we have managed to secure the services of David "the chip" Fulton and Fraser "the fish" Matheson for team to travel and climb!! One of the things that I hadnt mentioned in the last e-mail which people have pointed out is the reason behind supporting PBC. Well it is Tofor's mum who is suffering from this didease and so were all trying our best to raise cash through the climb to support the charity that researches for possible cures for it. I mentioned in the previous e-mail, that basically PBC is an autoimmune liver disease, ie not related to drugs or alcohol and has no known cause or cure. The charity is set up to provide help, support and information for PBC sufferers, their families and friends. So get ure cards out and send a wee bit for this good cause!!
