Hillhead Jordanhill are hosting the Glasgow Highland Games on the 2nd June 2007. The games are attracting some of the strongest, biggest and best competitors to make the Glasgow International Highland Games a fantastic event. The Games will feature competitors from the Worlds Strongest Man competition challenging to be crowned Champion in front of the Glasgow crowd.
In addition to the professional athletic events, we will also be hosting a parallel event designed for rugby players. These events will be:
1. The Rugby Strongman Event, and
2. Rugby Sprint King,
Further details will be issued directly to the applicants.
As well as the bragging rights of being Scottish Rugby’s Strongman Champion or the Scottish Rugby Sprint King, there will be a £150 cash prize and supply of training kit to the winners of each of the two titles.
