Max aims to be at the centre of things

Max Evans was impressive at Hawks
Glasgow coach Sean Lineen has high hopes for Max Evans who has followed younger brother Thom to the Warriors.
Max came north as a scrum-half, but Sean saw Max's potential at outside centre in a spell at Glasgow Hawks.

Max told The Scotsman: "I'm very happy. My aim when I came up here was to get a contract and I'm delighted Sean's happy with what he's seen. All through school and at Harlequins I played scrum-half, and I came up with that in the back of my mind, but Sean saw potential at outside centre/wing and, with playing centre on the IRB sevens circuit as well as XVs, I now feel very comfortable there.

"My aim, definitely, is to play international rugby, but my first aim is to make the Glasgow team next season, which will be tough, especially with Daryl Gibson coming. But I also hope to learn a lot from someone with his experience."
