According to the Harrogate message board they are also playing Glasgow Hawks on Saturday the 13th August. Is there some kind of misunderstanding here or do they have two teams or is there another similar named side up in Glasgow? I am sure we would not want to go all that way for no game

Don't panic! Having looked at the Harrogate message board they refer to the fixture asd being agaisnt Glasgow HA.
There is indeed a team in Glasgow called GHA (stands for Glasgow Hutchesons Aloysians). They finished second bottom of the BT Premiership 1 (the league that Hawks won)and were relegated to Premiership 2.
Pretty sure this is the answer to the question! In fact the last game of last season they lost to the Glasgow Hawks to be relegated
