Hi boys. Well, the time has come again for the annual golf trip to Arran.
The date for the trip will be the first Saturday in july ( which is july
2nd). The trip will hopefully be held at Shiskine golf course (depending on
availability), and then on to the local hotel for copius amounts of alcohol
Accomodation is
available and will be provided by Lord and Lady Maxton, with a full english
guaranteed the next morning -cooked by your honourable Maxton (aye
right).
The trip is open to any standard of golfer, however bad, and is more about
the banter than the standard of play (although Maxton's handicap is getting
slashed from last year). We will get the first ferry across in the morning
and head back on the sunday. The price of the golf will probably be in the
region of £20 (rough guess), plus you'll have to pay for the ferry and any
food/beer you want, so it is a bit pricey.
The theme for this year is going to be 'cowboy', so get your stetsons looked
out.
Anyway, let me know if you can make it asap, so that we can book the
appropriate tee-off times.
