HAWKS EYE UP CHANCE FOR REVENGE

GLASGOW HAWKS will square up to the side that snatched their Premiership crown on the opening day of the new season.
The ex-champions face Currie at Malleny Park on September 1.
Details of the fixtures were revealed along with news the sponsorship deal with Scottish Hydro Electric means clubs will get more than twice as much money as last term.
Premier 1-3 outfits will receive £1000 each, with £800 and £600 going to sides in the National and Regional Leagues respectively.
Scottish Rugby's travel support scheme - set up to help clubs and schools who clock up most miles - is being almost doubled and the reward scheme for development of pro players will put £30,000 up for grabs.
SEPT 1 FIXTURES: Premier 1 - Currie v Glasgow Hawks, Edinburgh Accies v Heriot's, Boroughmuir v Melrose, Hawick v Watsonians, GHA v Stirling County, Ayr v Dundee HSFP. Premier 2 - Musselburgh v Hamilton, Stewart's-Melville v Jed-Forest, Selkirk v Biggar, Haddington v Cartha QP, Hillhead-Jordanhill v West of Scotland, Kelso v Aberdeen GSFP.
