Glasgow Warriors get more new players

Scottish Rugby announced today that Scotland back row forward Kelly Brown will transfer to the Glasgow Warriors next season following the closure of the Border Reivers, while Scotland 7s stars Mike Adamson and Max Evans have re-signed with the West coast pro-team.
Brown, who has 12 senior international caps and is a former Scotland 7s player, said: "Following the closure of the Reivers I had to look to the future and I'm excited about the challenges ahead. I know a lot of the Warriors' players through Scotland duty and with their recent results they had a great end to the season. With the squad that we'll have next year, I'm sure we'll be challenging for honours in the Magners League."
Warriors coach Sean Lineen said: "Kelly is another quality player joining us for next season. He has really improved as a player over the past few years and I'm looking for him to lead by example on the field and bring out the best in our young back row."
Man of the Match in Glasgow Hawks' National Cup final victory at Murrayfield earlier this month, stand-off Mike Adamson is currently sitting seventh in the top points scorers table on the IRB Sevens World Series with 142, having played in all six tournaments on the series this season.
Max Evans, elder brother of the Warriors' flying winger Thom, joined Glasgow for a year and is now extending his stay with Scotland's top pro-team. He has played in two IRB Sevens tournaments this season, Hong Kong and Adelaide in April.
On the pair, Lineen said: "Mike is a skilful player, even though he's not the biggest on the park. He's got a huge heart and we'll bulk him up over the summer and then unleash him. There will be great competition between him and Colin Gregor for stand-off, while Dan Parks is away at the World Cup.
"Just like Sean and Rory Lamont, the Evans brothers have the potential to be a dynamic force for Glasgow. Max has a lot to offer, as he showed with Scotland 7s in Hong Kong last month, and I'm excited about what he'll bring to this squad," he added.
