The club is planning a training weekend at St. Andrews University on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 August.

The plan is to leave Glasgow early on Saturday morning and return Sunday afternoon with three rugby sessions and one team meeting making up most of the itinerary. Travel, meals and accommodation will be provided for a party of 26-30.

Before I pull the trigger and make the necessary bookings, I would greatly appreciate it if you could reply to this message stating whether you CAN or CANNOT make it up to St. Andrews that weekend. In fact, I need to know, so please rely!

In case you don't know, the pre-season schedule for the month of August is as follows:

4th - Ardrossan (A)
11th - Training weekend (St. Andrews)
18th - Mansell Cup (Nailacre, Edinburgh)
25th - West (A)

I hope you're all enjoying the break and I look forward to seeing you all next Thursday (July 5) at 6:30 PM at the Old Anniesland pavilion for the players' meeting which will kick off the new season.
