Glasgow hooker Fergus Thomson wants to grab his chance after being brought into Scotland's training squad preparing for the World Cup.
Fergus was called into the squad after Dougie Hall, his Glasgow teammate, was ruled out of the tournament with a knee injury picked up in training on Monday.

"It is not the way I would have wanted it to happen," said Fergus. "I would live liked to get there on merit rather than through injury but now that I am here, I will do everything I can to stay here."
