Scotland scored six tries in an ultimately evening. It wasn't the free-flowing running game the team showed they could produce in beating the Barbarians in Aberdeen, but coach Frank Hadden was pleased with the win and the fact his team notched up six tries.
What he wasn't pleased with was the start. The Scots found themselves 10-0 down after only 5 minutes, but roused themselves well and, as Hadden said afterwards, "stuck to their guns and deserved their win". This was achieved through tries from Scott Murray, Andy Henderson, Chris Paterson, Scott Lawson, Dan Parks and Kelly Brown, with Paterson adding three conversions and a penalty.
