Rugby stars moving from the scrum to the ruck and maul of insurance

Following last weeks extensive coverage of Taff in the business section of that famous journal the Herald-- this has been followed up by an interesting item spotted by our business correspondent--as ever first with the news

I have also been reliably informed by a source close the club that a player also featured in the News of the World recently but as was often said by their investigative journalists-"our reporter made his excuses and left"

Insurance Times Issue- 23-08-2007

It is fascinating how the world of rugby is contributing towards the
insurance industry.

In the past few weeks Aon has appointed ex-Glasgow Hawks rugby star Cameron
Little as business development consultant, which comes on the back of Welsh
rugby legend Ieuan Evans being appointed as non-executive director of Welsh
broker ProtectaGroup.

experience of British rugby teams recently?

Or is it that nobody is going to argue with a burly rugby player’s
judgment?
