Preparations for Scotland’s opening match in the IRB Under 21 World Championship in Mendoza have been going well. They take on Australia at the Chacras rugby ground tomorrow at 1pm (Mendoza is 4 hours behind BST).
Head coach Iain Paxton said: “The squad arrived safe, sound and intact in Mendoza on Sunday. We had a light session on Monday followed by a full session on Tuesday. The weather is fine for this time of year and we are eagerly looking forward to the opening match.”
All 26 players were available for selection.
Scotland play Wales in their second match of the tournament on Monday 13 June with the final pool game on Friday 17 June against Canada.
